The Deveraux History;;

Giselle Deveraux was born in a small town located in Alsace, France. Giselle was a witch and she possessed the powers of Telekinesis, Freezing, and Premonition. When she was twelve years old her and her family sailed across the ocean to America. There they settled in the town of Salem, Massachusetts. Giselle lived in Salem for about a year before she met a witch her age named Melinda Warren. Both of them had the exact same powers and soon became best friends. After years of practicing witchcraft and fighting demons, they decided to start a coven. They recruited some of the most powerful witches in the thirteen colonies.

When Giselle turned twenty she met a man named Michael Ashford. After a year they were married and Giselle was pregnant. Everything seemed to be going great until the witch trials came along. A member of their coven had been caught and interrogated. Not knowing if the captured witch of their coven had blurted out any names of other witches in the coven, everyone was frantic with worry. When they knew that they would all be captured they all agreed to do a spell, bigger than any they'd done before. It would ensure that even when they were long gone, their descendants would be powerful enough to fend off the evils in the world. The spell would work only for a most powerful witch and it would only work once. This spell would make sure that each witch's family would lead to three sisters, Charmed Ones, who would have extraordinary power. They would be the most powerful good witches of all time.

Before everyone could do the spell, the coven's meeting place was raided and every witch was taken into custody to be burned alive. Only Melinda and Giselle escaped. After running for miles, they found a relatively safe place to take refuge. They hastily chanted the spell and had only finished when the authorities found them and they were taken to be burned. Both witches vowed that each generation of witches in their family would become stronger and stronger, culminating in the arrival of three Charmed sisters.

Prue, Piper, Paige, and Phoebe were the Halliwell Charmed sisters, they were the first. Now since they've died, it's time the Charmed power was passed on to the Deveraux line: Alyssa, Olivia, and Elizabeth Deveraux.
